What it does
Embroidery sews thread through the fabric to build a raised, textured logo that lasts as long as the garment. It does not crack, peel or fade, which is why it is the standard for uniforms, hospitality wear, corporate gifts and caps.
The most important step is digitizing: turning your artwork into a stitch file that tells the machine where every needle point lands. Our team digitizes every design, setting stitch type, direction, density, underlay and pull compensation for the fabric and the size of the logo. Good digitizing is the difference between a crisp logo and a lumpy one.
The commercial machines in our production network run multi-needle heads, so multi-color logos stitch without re-threading. Cap frames handle structured and unstructured hats, and 3D puff, applique and custom patches are produced through the same network.

What to send

What is digitizing and why is there a fee?
Digitizing turns your artwork into a stitch file that controls every needle point. It is skilled work done once per design, so it is a one time fee quoted up front. The same design on hats, polos and jackets is digitized once.
How many thread colors can my logo have?
Multi-needle heads stitch multi-color logos in one run without re-threading, which covers almost every company logo and team crest. Very fine gradients are better suited to DTF or UV printing, and we will tell you if that is the case.
Can you do 3D puff embroidery?
Yes. 3D puff builds raised lettering and logos over foam and is most popular on cap fronts. It works best with bold shapes and thicker letters.
How small can text be?
Letters about 1/4 in tall or larger stitch cleanly. Smaller text tends to fill in, so we may suggest a small size change on the proof.
Embroidery or print: which should I choose?
Embroidery reads as premium and lasts the life of the garment, ideal for polos, jackets and caps. DTF and screen printing suit large graphics, full color art and lightweight tees. Many orders combine both.
How long does an embroidery order take?
About 5 business days after you approve the stitch proof. Reorders are faster because the stitch file is already on record, and rush is available on in stock garments.
