Mr Forklifts: a rentals-first rebuild for B2B local search
A Fort Worth equipment-rental business whose site had zero schema, no sitemap, and no local signals -- rebuilt around the offer that makes the phone ring.
A solid business standing on a missing search foundation
What our read-only site audit documented before the rebuild (May 2026).
- Zero structured data site-wide: no LocalBusiness, Service, or Product schema anywhere.
- No sitemap.xml and no robots.txt -- both returned 404.
- A meta description on the homepage only; missing H1 tags on four pages; no Open Graph or Twitter card tags.
- Thin internal linking and no content built for rental-intent searches.
- No published street address and no local-business signal -- for a company whose customers search locally.
- Honest credit where due: page speed was already good (0.59s time to first byte). The gap was on-page and local SEO, not performance.
Rebuilt rentals-first, wired for local search
- Full site audit and crawl. Documented the platform, the complete URL inventory, and every on-page and local-SEO gap as the baseline.
- Website rebuild. A conversion-focused rebuild structured around B2B lead capture and DFW local intent -- rentals first, with the money offer (forklift with operator) front and center.
- Structured-data program. LocalBusiness, Service, Product, FAQ, and breadcrumb schema staged to close the zero-schema gap.
- Local SEO, listings, and reputation retainer. An ongoing local-search, listings, and reputation program for the DFW market.
- Conversion copy. Page copy and calls-to-action rewritten around "get a rental quote or call" for same-day forklift rental across Dallas-Fort Worth.
From not-in-the-top-100 to #1, on organic alone
The numbers below are from the client April and June 2026 monthly SEO reports.
- The rebuilt, rentals-first site is live at www.mrforklifts.com with valid HTTPS, and every gap in the audit above has a documented fix delivered against it.
- Rankings are the scoreboard here. By the Month 6 report, four of the seven primary rental-intent terms held Google page one, three of them at #1 -- each having started outside the top 100. Fort Worth warehouse rental went from position 14 to #1 in the same span.
- The phone started ringing from search. Google Business Profile calls rose +220% in the Month 4 window and a further +30% by Month 6, alongside 46 direction requests and 31 website visits from the profile.
- Every number here is organic. Search impressions reached 5,512 with clicks up 15 percent, and the business now surfaces across AI search engines -- with zero dollars spent on ads.
- Honesty note: one term (Forklift Rental With Driver Dallas TX) was already ranking well before the engagement, so we do not count it as a win. The figures above are from the client's April and June 2026 monthly reports.
