Custom-domain email Beta, rolling out
Email on your own domain, set up by the people who know your DNS
An address like you@yourcompany.com tells customers you are a real business. The MAD Mail Custom Domain add-on puts that address in the same inbox as your free @madmonkey.media mailbox for $8 a month or $75 a year.
How it works
- Create a free MAD Mail account and choose Starter, Growth or Pro.
- Add the Custom Domain add-on at checkout.
- Type your domain in Settings. MAD Mail shows the exact DNS records to add.
- Add the records at your registrar, or ask us to do it if we manage your site.
- MAD Mail checks that you own the domain and shows its status.
Domains per plan
| Plan | Plan price | Custom domains |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Not available |
| Starter | $3/mo or $30/yr | 1 domain |
| Growth | $7/mo or $70/yr | Up to 3 domains |
| Pro | $15/user/mo or $150/user/yr | Up to 10 domains |
The add-on is $8 a month or $75 a year on top of the plan price.
Why go through an agency for this
Most failed email setups come down to a DNS record pasted in the wrong place. MAD Monkey Media already manages domains and websites for clients. If you already host with us, or are buying a domain through our domains page, we can make the records match your website setup.

Questions
How much is custom-domain email?
The Custom Domain add-on is $8 a month or $75 a year and goes on top of a Starter, Growth or Pro plan. Starter supports 1 domain, Growth up to 3 and Pro up to 10.
Do I lose my @madmonkey.media address?
No. You keep your @madmonkey.media address and add one on your own domain, so mail to either one reaches you.
Is custom-domain mail fully live?
Not for everyone yet. Custom-domain mail is in beta and rolling out. Settings shows the DNS records, checks ownership and shows the current status for each domain you add.
Do I need to buy a new domain?
No. You can use a domain you already own at any registrar. If you do not have one yet, MAD Monkey Media sells domains too.
