Our custom step and repeat banners are printed in full color on 13 oz vinyl, hemmed on all four sides and finished with metal grommets, so they hang flat and look sharp in every shot. What sizes do you offer?
8 x 8 ft, 10 x 8 ft (10 wide, 8 tall), 8 x 10 ft (8 wide, 10 tall) and 10 x 10 ft. Need something else, like 12 x 8 ft or a tabletop size? Request a custom size and we will quote it the same business day.
How is the 10 x 10 ft backdrop made?
A 10 x 10 ft backdrop is two 5 x 10 ft panels that hang side by side on one stand. We split your file so the pattern lines up across the center, and we place the split between logos so it reads as one wall in photos.
Matte or gloss vinyl?
Matte is our pick for step and repeat backdrops because it does not throw camera flash back at the lens. Gloss gives punchier color under soft light. Both are 13 oz vinyl, printed full color, at the same price.
How does it hang?
Every backdrop is hemmed on all four sides. Choose metal grommets every 2 to 3 feet all around (best for a backdrop stand, zip ties or bungees) or grommets in the 4 corners only (best for a wall or a frame).
Do I need a stand?
If your venue does not supply one, add our adjustable backdrop stand. It telescopes up to 10 ft wide and 10 ft tall, sets up in minutes with no tools, and packs into a carry bag.
How fast can I get it?
Standard orders are ready in 5 to 7 business days. Rush orders are ready in 2 to 4 business days. The clock starts when your order is paid and your proof is approved. On a tight deadline, call or email us before you order and we will confirm the date in writing.
Can I pick it up in Dallas?
Yes. Choose Local pickup at checkout and we will email you the pickup address and time as soon as your backdrop is ready. We can also ship it anywhere in the US.
What file should I send?
A PDF at full size or at 1/4 scale, with images at 100 to 150 dpi at full size (400 to 600 dpi at 1/4 scale) and 1 inch of bleed on every side. Keep logos and text at least 2 inches in from the edges. AI, EPS, PNG, JPG and TIF also work.
I do not have my file yet. Can I still order?
Yes. Choose I will email my file and send it to design@madmonkey.media with your order number. Production starts when the file arrives and you approve the proof.
Can you design the step and repeat for me?
Yes. Send us your logo and sponsor logos and our designers will build the repeat pattern for you. Choose design help on the product page and we will email you within one business day.
Will I see a proof?
Yes. We check every file for size, resolution and bleed and email you a digital proof. Nothing prints until you approve it.
Do you offer fabric or tension fabric backdrops?
Yes, on request. Fabric resists wrinkles and has no glare at all. Request a quote with your size and date and we will reply the same business day.
