Why MAD

Why teams pick MAD for Paid Advertising

01

Tracking before spend

We confirm calls, forms, and purchases are recorded correctly before scaling a budget, so decisions rest on real conversions, not clicks.

02

Landing pages in-house

Our web team builds and edits the pages your ads send people to, so offers, copy, and forms can change as fast as the campaigns do.

03

Paid and organic together

Ads are planned alongside your SEO, listings, and reviews, so budget goes to the searches and audiences organic results are not reaching yet.

How it works

Our 8-stage advertising process

Every account we run, on any platform, moves through the same eight stages. The detail changes by channel; the order does not.

  1. 1

    Audit

We review every ad account, your analytics and your CRM to find what produced customers and what only produced clicks.

  2. 2

    Tracking: pixel and Conversions API

Meta Pixel with Conversions API, Google tag with enhanced conversions, TikTok and LinkedIn tags where used, all tested before spend.

  3. 3

    Offer

A clear reason to act now for each audience, matched to a landing page or instant form that does not leak leads.

  4. 4

    Creative

Search ads, images and short videos written for each platform, in English and Spanish when it fits your market.

  5. 5

    Launch

Campaigns go live with tight targeting and exclusions, and we watch delivery daily in the first week.

  6. 6

    A/B tests

One variable at a time: hooks, offers, forms or audiences, each with a pass mark before we call a winner.

  7. 7

    Optimization

Weekly cuts to waste, budget moved toward booked jobs and sales, and closed sales sent back to the platforms.

  8. 8

    Reporting

Weekly report and monthly call on spend, leads, cost per lead and cost per customer, with a day 60 review.

Budget levels

What your ad budget gets you

Rough ranges for one local business. Your market, offer and tracking move these numbers, so we confirm them with your own data in the audit.

What each monthly ad budget can realistically buy
Monthly ad spendWhat it coversRough leads a month at typical Google lead costsBest fit
$500 a monthOne Search campaign on 5 to 15 high-intent keywords in a tight radius, with call and lead tracking.5 to 11Proving an offer before spending more. Often better as a one-time setup you run yourself.
$1,500 a monthSearch campaigns for your top 2 to 3 services, call assets, location assets and a negative keyword program.17 to 35A single-location local business that wants steady weekly leads.
$3,000 a monthFull Search build by service and area, a call-only or LSA test, and room for one Performance Max test.35 to 71Growing local businesses, multi-service companies and ecommerce stores with proven products.
$5,000+ a monthSearch, Performance Max or Shopping, YouTube remarketing and offline conversion import from your CRM.59 to 118Multi-location brands, franchises, B2B companies and stores scaling past one market.

Lead counts divide each budget by $42.15 to $84.20, the middle half of average Google search cost per lead across 23 industries in WordStream by LocaliQ Google Ads Benchmarks (2026; data Apr 1, 2025 to Mar 31, 2026). Your own cost per lead can sit outside this range.

Pricing

How our management fee works

Management is a flat monthly fee that covers ad spend up to a set level, plus a one-time setup for the audit, tracking fix and first creative. Above that spend level the fee grows with a small percentage of the extra spend, so you always know the number before you approve a bigger budget. Your ad spend goes on your own card, paid directly to the platform, never through us, and you own every account, pixel and audience. Ask for a quote and we send the exact figures in writing within 48 hours.

FAQ

Questions about Paid Advertising

If yours is not here, ask it in the form above and a strategist will answer.

Which ad channel should I start with?

For most local and service businesses, search ads capture people already looking. Video and programmatic display build awareness and bring visitors back. We recommend a mix based on your offer, margins, and sales cycle, and start narrow.

What do you need from me to get started?

Access to any existing ad and analytics accounts, a clear picture of your best customers and margins, and someone who can answer questions about lead quality. We handle the audit, tracking, campaign build, and landing page changes.

How do you measure success?

By cost per qualified lead or sale, not clicks or impressions. We connect ad data to calls, forms, and orders, and where possible to which leads became customers, then shift budget toward what produces them.

How is paid advertising priced?

Management is a custom quote, scoped after a short discovery call, and offered month-to-month or on an annual contract. Your ad spend is a separate budget that we agree on with you.

Can you run ads in Spanish?

Yes. Bilingual English and Spanish service is available for ad copy and landing pages, so Spanish-speaking customers get a consistent experience from the first ad to the form or phone call.

What is a good cost per lead?

One you can afford after your close rate. If one in five leads buys and a new customer is worth $1,000 in profit, you can pay up to $200 a lead and still break even. Published averages help as a reference: Google search leads averaged $66.69 across industries in 2026 data, with large swings by industry.

Which platforms do you manage?

Google Search, Performance Max, Local Services Ads support, YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and programmatic display and streaming TV. We usually start with one or two and add more only when the first ones produce customers. See our <a href="/services/ppc/facebook-vs-instagram-vs-google-ads/">platform comparison</a>.

How long before ads produce leads?

Search campaigns can produce calls in the first week. Meta, TikTok and YouTube usually need 2 to 4 weeks of learning and creative tests. We judge the program on day 60 numbers, once tracking is clean and the platforms have enough data.
