Artwork and design tips
Specialty effects work best when they are used with restraint. Pick one element for the foil or spot UV, such as a logo or a short greeting, and keep fine lines and small text out of the effect layer. Send a high-resolution PDF at the finished size, extend background colors 0.125 inch past the trim, and keep important text inside the safe area.

Do the cards come folded?
Cards are scored on the fold line so they fold cleanly. They ship flat and scored, ready to fold.
Are envelopes included?
No. The options on this page print the card only. Ask us if you need matching envelopes and we will quote them.
How do I set up a foil or spot UV file?
Send the full color artwork plus a separate layer or page in solid black that marks exactly where the foil or spot UV goes. Our team checks the file before it prints.
What file should I send?
A print-ready PDF at the finished size with 0.125 inch bleed on every side, CMYK color, images at 300 dpi, and text at least 0.125 inch inside the trim. Fonts embedded or outlined.
