Put the one thing people need to remember, usually your phone number or website, in large type. Keep important text inside the safe area away from the edges and corners. Send a high-resolution PDF at the finished size, extend background colors 0.125 inch past the trim, and keep important text inside the safe area.

Where can I use a magnet?
Printed magnets stick to clean, flat steel surfaces such as refrigerators, file cabinets and vehicle doors.
How do I care for a car magnet?
Apply it to a clean, dry, flat steel panel and smooth it down fully. Remove it regularly to clean and dry the surface underneath, and take it off before an automatic car wash.
What file should I send?
A print-ready PDF at the finished size with 0.125 inch bleed on every side, CMYK color, images at 300 dpi, and text at least 0.125 inch inside the trim. Fonts embedded or outlined.
