Foil is a thin metallic layer applied to the parts of your design you choose, so your logo, name or border flashes gold or silver as the card moves. Set against a matte or soft touch lamination, the metal looks even brighter.
Choose gold or silver, foil on the front or on both sides, and square or rounded corners. Everything that is not foil prints in full color as normal.

How do I set up foil artwork?
Send your print file plus a matching foil layer where the foil areas are 100 percent black. Keep foil lines at least 0.5 pt thick so they stay crisp.
Can I use more than one foil color?
One foil color per card: gold or silver.
What file should I send?
Send a PDF at the finished size plus 0.125 in bleed on every side (3.75 x 2.25 in for a 3.5 x 2 in card), 300 dpi images, CMYK color, and text at least 0.125 in inside the trim. Our team checks every file before it goes to press and contacts you if anything needs fixing.
How long does it take?
Production time: 4-5 business days after file approval. Shipping time is added and depends on the method you choose at checkout.
