Description
Lamination is a thin film bonded to the card instead of a liquid coating, so it adds real thickness and durability. A 16pt core with matte lamination on both sides finishes at about 18pt: noticeably stiffer than a standard card, with a smooth, silky surface.
The matte film softens colors slightly and gives the card a calm, upscale look. It resists scuffs, fingerprints and light moisture, so the card holds up when it lives in a pocket or a car.

What is the difference between lamination and coating?
Coatings are liquid and cured on the sheet. Lamination is a film bonded to the card, which adds thickness and better scuff and moisture resistance.
What file should I send?
Send a PDF at the finished size plus 0.125 in bleed on every side (3.75 x 2.25 in for a 3.5 x 2 in card), 300 dpi images, CMYK color, and text at least 0.125 in inside the trim. Our team checks every file before it goes to press and contacts you if anything needs fixing.
How long does it take?
Production time: 4-5 business days after file approval. Shipping time is added and depends on the method you choose at checkout.
